NEXTGAMMON ("the App") is a single-player backgammon game with mutation cards, developed by Burak Alperen Akkaya. This page explains what data the App collects and how it's used.
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in. Your game progress, settings, and unlocked achievements are stored locally on your device only, and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
The App offers optional in-app purchases (unlocking Run Mode, buying Neon Chips) processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous device identifier to validate purchases and restore them across devices — it does not receive your name, email, or payment details, which Apple handles directly.
Free-to-play parts of the App (1v1 Quick Match, for players who haven't purchased Run Mode) display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the App requests App Tracking Transparency permission before any such tracking occurs — you can decline this at any time in your device's Settings, and the App will still function normally, just with less personalized ads.
Purchasing Run Mode removes ads from the App entirely, and with them, AdMob's data collection.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are not configured for child-directed treatment.
Since gameplay data lives only on your device, uninstalling the App removes it. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat per their own retention policies, linked only to an anonymous purchase identifier.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
